In order to register a racquetball team, it must be affiliated with a single school name. Our team, founded in 2012 by the "Core Four" of Lafayette High School's varsity boys team, has experienced significant growth since its inception. Today, it welcomes students from any school within the Rockwood School District.   We are a feeder team for students that are currently or will be attending a Rockwood high school.  If your student plans to attend a private high school, we can connect you with their feeder team.  Either way, you will love racquetball! 

There are absolutely NO tryouts! Everyone is encouraged to join! Feel free to attend one of our practices (for free!) whenever it suits your schedule to experience the sport firsthand. We believe you will be captivated from the very first session! Plus, there's no sitting on the bench – everyone gets playing time in every game! 

Practices are held at Wild Horse Fitness in Ballwin.   There are multiple practices every day Monday thru Friday.  The head coach works to find a time that works best for each age group.  Most attend two practices a week. 

November through February.  During the regular season, matches take place at either Vetta - Concord (South County) or Vetta-West (St. Peters).

• Grade School/Middle School/JV3 - Games are scheduled for Saturdays, with the timing based on the player's age. 
• Varsity - Games are played after school on the weekdays.
• Additionally, players have the opportunity to participate in optional tournaments featuring 1 to 3 divisions (singles, doubles, and mixed doubles). With numerous games offered, this is where players can experience significant growth.   

Yes!   

There are two types of tournaments:

• MOHSRA tournaments - included in your league fees.  They run on Friday evenings and Saturday all day.
• Open tournaments - Theses tournaments are optional and have a cost associated with them depending on the number of divisions your athlete enters.  They run on Friday evenings and Saturday all day. 

Each tournaments has 3 divisions your athlete can enter: 

• Singles - Same gender one vs. one
• Doubles - Same gender two vs. two
• Mixed doubles - One of each gender per team - two vs. two

Tournament travel is optional: 

The High School Nationals take place at the culmination of the season in March.   The tournament alternates between St. Louis and Portland, Oregon, every other year. Participation is exclusively reserved for high school players. 

The Junior Nationals occur in June and moves to different cities throughout the States.  This tournament welcomes players from all grade levels.

Once regular season play concludes, the training persists! Weekly practices continue from March through October, ensuring ongoing skill development even during the off-season. It's an excellent summer activity for the kids to anticipate and enjoy!   Players can choose to continue to practice or take the summer off and rejoin in the Fall. 

Team Dues - We aim to reduce this expense by securing sponsors in the near future. These funds go towards covering practice equipment and travel expenses for our coaches.

League Fees - This fee is paid directly to the Missouri High School Racquetball Association (MOHSRA) and grants you participation in league games.

Wildhorse Fitness Membership - This facility hosts our practices, and a membership is required. However, it also grants your athlete access to the facilities outside of designated practice times.

Team Dues: $120

League Fees: Varsity - $260; Middle School - $200 ; Grade School - $170

Wildhorse Fitness Membership: Approximately $600 annually
